The name of “Acoutec” comes from “Acoustic Technology”, it started out as a team serving NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness), focusing on the sound quality management of the whole vehicle, including the quality of music playback, the quality of the sound inside and outside the car (ambient sound, acceleration feedback sound, pedestrian reminder sound, ADAS warning sound, instrumentation sound), engine sound quality, noise control (engine noise control, road noise control).

Acoutec was invested by Tianjin Bodun Electronics Co., Ltd. Who was initially founded in 2000. It is one of the national high-tech enterprises dedicated in research, development, production and service of automobile multimedia, automobile energy saving and environment protection, and automobile electronic control systems.
